Medeo is a sports complex built at an altitude of 1691 meters above sea level, near the former capital city of Kazakhstan – Almaty. Medeo is the highest mountain range in the world for winter sports with the largest area of artificial ice field – 10500 square meters. The necropolis Koshkar-Ata

Koshkar-Ata necropolis is located in Mangystau oblast of Kazakhstan and has the status of the monument of 10th-19th centuries protected by the state. The photos were captured by Ruprix.

Open-cast coal mine “Bogatyr” views

A mine of such a capacity was constructed for the first time in the world in Ekibastuz coal field (Ekibastuz city). Due to this fact “Bogatyr” was included into the Guinness Book of Records in 1980 (over 1 billion tons of coal was mined within the whole period of exploitation). 50 million tons is mined a year.
